Embracing Mexico City form the south, lies El Tepozteco,
one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world,
born in the Quaternary to form the Neovolcanic Axis of Mexico.
This mountain range is a traditional refuge for people from Mexico City,
for its beauty and proximity: only 90 minutes away by car.
The climate is mild and pleasant all year round;
it rains from June to September, it blooms in October and November,
and the dry season turns everything yellow from February to May.
The landscapes and the sights, the sounds, the smells and the light
are always sweet and inspiring.
This secret valley is plentiful of trails and country paths to explore freely,
on foot or mountain bike.
In this atmosphere of sacred flavor Splendor Omnia was born in 2011.
We live in a silent, almost secret valley, high in the mountains,
green and rocky, at 6,725 feet.
Our buildings are made with wood, earth and hay
and they join together by soft paths of amber and pink gravel,
always surrounded by local vegetation
and the most traditional trees of Mexico: oaks, ocotes and cazahuates.
Our dining room is a very generous space with unforgettable views on
the north face of El Tepozteco, normally hidden, and shelter of endemic cacti.
In cold weather a fire accompanies us in a volcanic stone chimney.
We care about serving food of the best quality, not industrialized
and with great taste and variety.
Blanca cooks with the seasoning of this place,
albeit with a culinary vocation from around the world.
Here, you have breakfast, lunch and dinner,
without having to worry about anything.
Honey is from the flowers that are born here;
the eggs we eat are from our hens, fed organically.
For lodging we have very spacious bungalows
in the middle of the forest, where our guests
settle comfortably and in complete privacy.
The roof of this building works as a surface for
the solar cells that produce the clean energy
with which we function.
All our roofs are also rain receptors.
Our water is all from rainwater collection.
